Who We Are

Motifit is an iOS application developed and maintained by Gary Farrell. Questions about this policy can be directed to dev.farrell@icloud.com.

Data We Access

Motifit requests read-only access to the following Apple Health data types, solely to display your personal fitness trends within the app:

• Active Energy Burned (active calories)
• Step Count
• Exercise Minutes (Apple Watch workout data)
• Body Mass (weight)

Access to each data type is granted or denied by you through the iOS Health permissions prompt. You can change these permissions at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Motifit.

How Your Data Is Used

Health data accessed by Motifit is used exclusively to render charts and statistics within the app on your device. It is never stored outside of your device, transmitted over a network, shared with any third party, or used for any purpose other than displaying it back to you.

Data Storage & Transmission

Motifit does not operate any servers or backend infrastructure. The app has no network activity. Your health data is read from Apple Health in real time and displayed in the app — it is never written to disk by Motifit, cached externally, or sent anywhere.

Third Parties

Motifit contains no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or crash reporting services. No data of any kind is shared with any third party.

Children's Privacy

Motifit does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app collects no personal information from any user regardless of age.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes materially — for example, if a future version of Motifit introduces network features — the effective date above will be updated and the new policy will be available at this URL before the update ships.
